Photo Essay: A Tour in Photos of Tennessee's Great Smokies and Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg, y'all. It felt a lot like home when I was in and around Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Great Smokies the past few days. That's because I grew up in nearby North Carolina, attending college just 30 miles from the entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A lot has both changed and has not changed. For example, the main drag of Gatlinburg is now dotted with moonshine distilleries that weren't even legal a few years ago.

But some things never change, like how stupid beautiful the Great Smoky Mountains are. Over the coming days and weeks I'll be sharing more about my trip to Gatlinburg with Travel Mindset. Despite appearances, I did more than just drink moonshine in and around the Great Smokies. Meanwhile, take a virtual tour through Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg with me.
